This makes a perfect gift, and is a great conversation piece. The iris of the eye contains countless detailed striations of color. It has a precisely made pupil, and the sclera is covered with a network of fine red veins. This was hand made in my small town studio, and was made with borosilicate glass (which is much more durable than normal glass). It has been kiln annealed.
