This marble contains multiple complex layers: a detailed eye on the outside, with a complex (glowing) fume implosion on the inside. The iris of the eye contains countless detailed striations of color. It has a precisely made pupil, and the sclera is clear, and covered with a network of fine red veins. The implosion on the inside was done with pure gold and silver vaporized in a very hot flame, and trapped with a UV reactive colored glass (which glows brightly under black light). A small bubble was also added to the tip of each little tentacle of fume. The implosion looks a lot like a small anemone. This was hand made in my small town studio, and was made with borosilicate glass (which is much more durable than normal glass). It has been kiln annealed.
