Glass Dolphin Pipe | Color Changing | Unique Functional Glass Art |
This beautiful, vibrant dolphin pipe has been meticulously sculpted to include many details. I used boro (borosilicate) glass to create this functional sculpture. The whole thing was fumed with silver (for color changing), coated with colored glass powder, and kiln annealed for durability. A graceful flowing body body shape and the many other fine details make it seem to be ready to swim away.
The lighter used for size reference in the last photo is a standard sized bic lighter.
I decided to mark this one down in price (down from 60), since it's a prototype, and I'm still figuring out the shaping of this design. It turned out fine, but I probably will make some changes to the design in future versions.
