This beautiful, vibrant grey whale pipe has been meticulously sculpted to include many details. I used boro (borosilicate) glass to create this functional sculpture. The whole thing was coated with colored glass powder and fumed with silver. A graceful flowing body body shape and the many other fine details make it seem to be ready to swim away. The lighter used for size reference in the last photo is a standard sized Bic lighter.

I was so worried when I checked the mail to find the package with a giant hole in the cardboard, the post office clearly had tossed it around a bit. (Nothing to the fault of the seller of course!) But thankfully the glass was wrapped so well, it was well taken care of!! Not even a scratch. The piece arrived a day earlier than I had expected, which was nice too! The glass art is absolutely beautiful. Such detail. Even more beautiful in person! Thank you so much, I really love this piece!
