The eye on the end of this pipe has an iris that has countless carefully crafted striations. Accents surrounding the eye were done with Illuminati glass (which glows brightly under black light). The cobalt blue glass that I used for this was first fumed with pure gold and silver, then was coated with clear glass powder to trap the fume. Fuming is when a precious metal is vaporized in a very hot flame, and that vapor is used to coat a hot piece of glass. Made with high quality boro (borosilicate) glass and kiln annealed.
